2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE OBO or trade for Travel Trailer in Valleyview, AB

It's a 2005 Altima 3.5 SE.
3.5 L transverse mouted V6.
250 HP and around the same tourqe specs.

the best mileage it sees on the highway is 6 L/100km, in town it does about 8 to 8.5 L/100km.

It's the same base motor as the Nissan Maxima, 350z, some of the pathfinders, Murano, and Infiniti G35, and some others. The 3.5 is an upgrade in the Altima, the base model comes with a 2.5 transverse mouted inline 4.

The car came factory with:
5 speed automatic transmission with tiptronic manual option

in dash 6 cd changer
BOSE surround sound speakers
heated power mirrors
auto dimming rear view mirror
Larger 4 wheel disk brakes than base model
also worth noting that is has the larges trunk in a 2005 sedan, and a 60/40 fold down rear seat

We have upgraded the suspension with Stock SE-R shocks and struts and Eibach Sportline springs. This makes the car ride stiffer with a MUCH better feel of the road. the side effect is that the car rides about 2 inches lower than stock.

I do have the factory suspension components that can either go with the car, or I can install them prior to the new owner taking posession if prefered. I would highly reccomend driving this one and comparing it to stock before deciding to take out the suspension upgrade however.

The wheels and tires are also upgraded. They are 18 inch alloys with 235/45/178 Z rated tires.

The car has always been well maintained with oil changes every 5000 to 7000 km depending on the percentage of highway mileage vs city driving.

other maintenance has included the serpintine belt and new brake rotors and pads all around. I have also replaced trhe starter as the celenoid on the stock starter had failed to fire on 3 occasions. All parts have been in the vehicle since last spring and have proven problem free.

The car has [removed phone] km on it now, and the front end shows that it's almost entirely highway mileage. With continued maintenance this car should easily see another [removed phone] km without any major issues.

We are trhe second owners, the first owner was a salesman that serviced all of western Canada and put around [removed phone]km on it, we have owned it since 2006 and have made frequent trips from the Edmonton area to the Shuswaps and to and from Grimshaw, and Valleyview area also, making up the balance of the mileage.

The vehicle really must be drivin to be appreciated.

The average used asking price for a 2005 Altima on the Canadian Blackbook website appears to be between $7000 and $[removed phone] depending on location, mileage and other features.

We have recently picked up an 8 seater SUV to accomodate our growing family and don't drive this one nearly as much as we would like to.

We would like to either trade it for an SUV towable travel trailer that sleeps 5 minimum
(read 5000 LBS or so pull behind rather than 5th wheel with trailer brakes)

or $7500 OBO to fund the above.
